disabling facebook apps

Hi,

I'm new here and have just purchased an xperia miro.

As I'm not a facebook user I don't need the apps but understand that I can't uninstall them without rooting the phone,something I don't want to do so my question is if I disable them will it effect any other apps or processes on my phone and cause me any undue problems?

I'm just thinking that it would save me data and battery life if they were disabled,would that be right?

you can disable them, all fb apps, it shouldn't cause any issues.

Thanks for that,I'll have a go and see what happens.I guess I can always re-able them if i notice any problems.

Do you know if it would be ok to dissable other google apps like movies and such like?

Disabled the facebook apps and they've dissappeared from the menus,only difference is on some home screens there is a red band at the top saying "unable to load widget"

if the widget is FB related it wont work

Yeah,guessed that,it's not a problem for me,glad to remove the bloatware of fb:smileyhappy:
