Disable Reject call with message Option

Dear Sony,

Please give an option to disable "Reject call with message" in next update, Because whenever i am taking Phone from my pocket, its sending message automatically and my balances going. Also, in latest update also, i am getting splitted image in camera and i am looking for call background music option. Please upate that too

Yes, same as that. I'm a carpenter, and my phone is in my pocket when I work.

Phone rings.

I fumble in my pocket to get it out to answer the call. By the time I've extracted it, it has stopped ringing, and I have this menu of messages, none of which I want.

I don't know who has called, how I can answer, if I am still connected, nothing.

Who installed this totally useless piece of software on these otherwise good phones, and how can I disable it? It is the most annoying thing I have ever come across on a mobile phone.

Does anyone from Sony ever look at these forums? I note the OP doesn't have an answer three weeks after posting.

Does anyone know how this useless software can be permanently disabled?

There is a way to work around. Use a call confirmation app like this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.perracolabs.tcc&hl=en

There are other apps like this and you may try them too. 

Set it to confirm only incoming calls. When you receive a call, the app will draw its own slide-lock screen over the incoming call screen, and the screen will become responsive only after you get through the app's lock screen. But the app, at times, may take some time to show up. So, always try pulling out the phone from you pocket by holding its edges as a backup measure.

The problem with installing an app like this or even an alternative lockscreen app is that is bypasses security features I have enabled on my phone

My phone cannot be turned off from the lockscreen, when the power button is pressed the only option that appears is flashlight, there is an obvious advantage to having this on a phone were the battery cannot be easily removed - it gives me a few hours to trace the phone if it is stolen, yes there are still ways to get round it but your average theif probably won't know how

anyway I 100% agree that this feature should have an option to disable it or it should be a swipe up required to activate it, either way it is of extreme annoyance

I totally agree, I'm having the same problem and my airtime is just flying away each time I get a call when my phone is in my pocket (don't have a cover yet coz no one supplies them near me). I love Sony, always have, I Love my phone... BUT... This highly annoying "feature" that I could easily disable on other Androids is really forcing me into a corner where I'm gonna root my phone and install a custom ROM which I dont really want to do. So please Sony.... Fix this abomination of a small but VERY BIG problem.
