Well, this is what I learned talking to Directv tech support: (a) Directv currently has not tested the Xperia tablets to see if they will actually work with GenieGo, so you can buy it and take your chances; and (b) due to some copyright protection issue, the video file that GenieGo transfers to the tablet is blocked from being mirrored back onto another monitor, i.e. you have to watch only on your tablet. If true, (b) is a shame, because I wanted to use the Xperia tablet to carry videos from my main home to my vacation home and watch there on another Sony large screen TV. Still interested in anyone else's experience with GenieGo, thanks.
