Digitizer or LCD with Digitizer?

Hi

I broke the screen on my Z3 compact recently and I was just wondering if anyone knows whether I need a digitizer replacement or if the LCD needs replacing too. The screen is cracked and completely unresponsive, but the display seems to be working fine.

If you have serious skills then you can separate the LCD from the digitizer and then replace just the digitizer but this isn't an easy job

Isn't it possible to buy just the digitizer on its own though? I've seen pages with digitizers for sale at around $30, while the LCD+digitizers are about $170.

From a 3rd party seller yes you can replace just the digitizer but you need to separate the LCD from the digitizer which isn't easy as they are glued together
