Digital Compass function not working

Hi. in my ARC S Digital Compass function is not working. I installed several compass apps from google play but any of that doesn't show any movement.

do any one had this kind of problem? phone running with ICS. thanks.

Did you have the same problem before updating to ICS? Do you know?

Please let me know what apps you are using and if these apps was working before ICS or not.

My phone is Xperia Arc. I have same problem with digital compass after updating to ICS. I tried my old compass sw and new one, but the compass is unstable.

I have another problem, arc can't play mp4 videos which it can play before updating. I think the problem is related to hw accelerator driver or codec, because BSPlayer sw can't go hw mode, and system player can not play them after updating.

I have the Xperia S.

With GB everything works fine.

I'm using MapDroyd and a Compass-App for hiking.

For me these apps are very impotant.

I wish i haven't updated to ICS.

Is there a way back?

yes, there is way back. use flashtool and downloand an .ftf file with disered ROM
