delivery report for Text messages initiated on PC Suite

Delivery reports work find for text messages entered in C903, but it does not seem to happen when the text message is initiated from PC Suite.

I suspect this requires a change to PC Suite, but there does not seem to be any config setting.

Other forums have suggested prefixing the message with *0# but this does not  work on the Three UK network.

I love sending texts from PC Suite, but really want to know that the daughters phone is turned on and receiving texts so I can get angry when she ignores me.

Any ideas for PC Suite config changes or "secret" commands like *0# that Three UK will obey.

OK, I've found a really grubby workaround for others interested:

Create the message on PC Suite, save as draft, select send draft on phone and under Options, Advanced set delivery report on.  But this is a pain.

Sony Ericsson support centre claims this is a network operator issue so contact 3 - COME ON SE this is clearly a PC Suite problem where you need to be able to set a delivery report option and PC Suite can then set the correct command to the phone, or the phone needs take the phone default settings when sending text messages initiated form PC Suite.  The *0# thing was only suggested as a hacked workaround.
