I have close to 20,000 text messages on my phone. What is the best way to delete them? I tried deleting them the normal way, and after a few hours it was still deleting... is there any trick??
How about
settings > apps > all > messaging > clear data
Tried that already, nothing happens. The only way i get a message that says "deleting messages" is when i click on the message thread, and then click delete. But it says that for hours....
what if you delete only one conversation at a time
I only have one conversation. It has 20,000 messages. lol
Oh snap, I haven't try this myself but what if you restart on safemode and then try again ?

I tried some apps that are supposed to help delete large amounts of texts faster, but they dont work.
Anyone know if there is a way to delete messages by connecting phone to computer, and finding the file?
You won't have access to such files unless your phone is rooted (if I'm not mistaken)
The last option is performing a factory reset
Bridge (for Mac)
