delete draft

So; How do I delete a draft when I'm texting? Anybody knows...? Thanks

Go into it as to edit text then remove with backspace any text then press the back up key and it should take you back to your message lists and the red draft should be gone.

Or you can just go into Settings>Messaging look for the Draft folder and long-pressed on the item and it will present an option to delete.

You can do the same thing in Timescape.

if you know what the draft message is, open the message and long press, select delete message, simples

Darkmax... where you looking? I don't have a Messages folder in the settings menu.  Always keen to learn new stuff, so am I missing a trick here?

Reaths, the only thing I get for a long press is the option to delete the whole thread.  Are you using the stock app or a downloaded one. I have stock and Handcent.

Sort me out chaps, cos I like to keep my advice accurate, call me Mrs OCD!

using the stock message, open any thread and long press on the message you want to delete, your options should be

forward

copy message text

view message details

delete message

if you do this using handsent you get even more options as well as the above

I can do that on a sent or received message  but not on a draft.  As soon as you open a thread with a draft in, the text of the draft appears in my text input box and you can only backspace to get rid of it.

once you open the thread, the draft doesn't have draft beside it you have to know which message is the draft and then you can delete it

No that does not happen with Rachel. I think you must be using X10 mini or Mini Pro. 'Cos if the message is in the thread, it is already sent.
