dead xperia active

just dnt know what to do with my dead xperia active.i just used it 5minutes before & after that i pulled it from my pocket & wanted to dial a call but only men button was lighting.i pressed the power button in order to unlock the screen but the screen remain off.no button working in order to get the screen on.atlast i removed the battery,the sim,meomory card but place back the battery.after that i pressed the power button but fruitless.wanted to connect to pc but pc companion doesnot detect the phone as it is like power off mood.right now i just dnt know what to do with this phone.is there anybody can help me to come out from this problem with my xperia active?i just never expected it from adevice manufactured by sony.

exactly the same thing. the phone goes to garbage now.. this was my first and last phone from sony. can't even repair it (still have warranty). the phone is only 2 months old. warranty is in taiwan but they are not even replying to my calls or emails.

Sony sucks.

Can you clarify what happens when you plug the device in to a charger? does it start charging the device or does it remain dead, give it  at least 30 mins of charge before trying to turn it on.

the device charges. i was able to did the software reset using the PC companion (no errors) but the phone did not come up anyways.

Just yesterday night by occasion I was able to start it!

So now it comes up once in ten attempts. and the trick is you have to push the screen with your finger pretty hard then it comes up. otherwise it is not doing anything. I think it is a loose contact or something..
