Ok, I gave up trying to get the Z3 screen NOT to switch off, but display a digital clock, Just like my Nokia 1020 So I bought the docking unit, and have daydream set up with some apps for weather etc

Well just when I thought I had it all sussed I came across the "Must Have" Style Cover Window SCR24

So not going blank? what did I miss, dont think this cover has any connection to power charge or dock ?

Is your bluetooth and NFC on? as these are needed for cover to work as intended

Thank have done a bit of research now, this cover is usless, yes it switches on a little screen with clock etc when cover is closed, but then after the time out it switches the screen compleatly off so what use is it, you have to double tap the screen to show a little window

"Must Have" nah usless

I dont have this cover, and will continue to use the dock instead, far better
