DATA usage and sms problem

Hi,

I m using sony xperia tipo dual phone, when I switch on the data on the 1st sim and when the data is ON ( in the background) , I try to send a sms through the same sim. I get an error saying "could not send " message. Kindly help. This is happening always

( if I try to send an sms when wifi is running in the background, I have no issues while sending the message )

Actually, when you are using mobile network in GSM mode (GPRS running on GSM network) and packets are being sent or received, network becomes busy in one direction. So, phone might not be able to send SMS as SMS are sent over same GSM network (if company uses GSM network for calls/sms).
