Data transfer from internal storage to SD card error

This problem might not have to do with the Xperia M4 Aqua, but rather with android. But I don't know that for sure, so I am just trying to find help.

I recently bought the M4 Aqua with 8GB storage and although it internal storage is small, I can manage with my new SD card of 32GB. But while trying to transfer my music and one app today, it gave a weird error message and didn't want to transfer it. "Transfer interrupted. Check your SD card for possibly transferred data."

I checked my SD card and also checked no my pc for damage or errors. I have no clue what to do now and the music takes up too much space so I can't install anything anymore untill I have transferred it. Please help!

(I don't see a button to upload screenshots, else I would upload them)

What manufacturer and class is your SD Card?

Does it also happens when you use other SD Card?

My SD card is: Kingston technology 32GB micro SD HC I class 10 (bought with adapter).

I have no idea if a different SD card will work and I can't really check it unless I empty my old one of just 2GB 😕 I will try that later today

Hi @Astra_moon

Please do a backup of the SD card data, and then try to format it with your computer, After doing this, insert it again in your device and check if it works. I´m at disposal for any question.

Thanks, @xavinux
I think that might be my best option. I wonder why I didn't think of that in first place.(well... I am not an IT'er for that matter XD) I will do it a.s.a.p. and I will update the results.
