data traffic

hi good evening, i just updated my xperia acro s and before i did that my data is still working, but after the update, even i turn on the data traffic its not getting any data signal theres no data icon on the notification bar. i tried reseting my phone and i also tried the service update but still data is not working. please help me with this,

Check so you have data enabled in your phone. Go to settings > more... > mobile networks > data enabled.

Also try to download new Internet settings from settings > Xperia > Internet settings.

Restart your phone by press volume up and power at the same time until the phone vibrates and try to see if you get any data connection to your network.

i tried it for 3times, but still im not getting data signal

And thats about all you'll get from Sony.I updated my Acro S roughly 8 weeks ago and have had no 2g since even though the status bar shows a signal.Stuck on 4.1.2 now with no signs of rectifiying the problem.Rendered my phone useless as a browsing tool.Paid a lot of money for it and am paying my network provider for unlimited data usage which is useless.All I get from Sony is that I chose to update my phone,no one forced me to do it so it's not their problem.Why the hell there is no option they offer for you to roll it back to ICS is beyond me.My last 6 phones have been Sony's,I shall think strongly when my next contract comes up.
