Damaged SD Card

My Xperia M suddenly shown "Damaged SD Card". My micro SD card (SanDisk Ultra microSDHC Class 10 16GB) still work flawlessly on my Macbook using a adapter. I've tried to format it on my Xperia and my laptop, but it show no effect, the notification still there and the card won't mount. Then I changed my SD card and it seems the card isn't the problem.

I think the slot is the problem. Did anyone have the same problem? I wanna ask before I bring my Xperia to the service center because Indonesian service center isn't that good.

What happens to the files on the card?Everything is intact?You should try to run a software repair on your device.

The data is intact, because the problem isn't the card (I think). I've updated my Xperia M to the newest version of firmware, but the problem still persist.

Did you run a software repair?Try to do it and maybe it helps.If not,you have to stop by a sony service.

i too have the same problem with my phone ..on my xperia m dual.....it says damaged sd cards whats the correct sol. 4 that??????

Save ur data on pc.format the memory card and try inserting it again
