Hello,
My phone was updated OTA to 6.0.1 4 days ago, since then there has been a problem with my bluetooth headphones, where the sound progressively gets more broken up while playing music. I've searched online and found that this was a bug that was reported a long time ago and was supposed to be looked at by Sony. Why is this still happening ? and when will it get fix ? My expensive Bluetooth headphones is now a brick.
Sony Xperia Z3 D6603 - I have precisely the same problem tried different bluetooth recievers, uninstall all user installed apps, then the drastic factory reset last night - still just as bad. The connection is being dropped erratically causing pops and crackles. Definately since the update.
Same here problems with bluetooth headphone crackling since update to android 6.0.1
Sony Xperia Z3 D6603
my z3 tablet have same problem but when I use old BT speaker without APTX
,the problem was gone ..... when this bug can be fixed
just had an update to music app and seems to have cured this problem on sbh-80 bluetooth headphones
Edit : This did not cure the problem i am still getting the same audio problems when using my headset with my Z3.
I tested my headset on my ipod nano and had no problems whatsoever, so it is an issue with the update to android 6.0.1
I contacted support they said repair the software on my phone using xperia companion which i have done and will test the headset again and post result.
Still broken for me. Connect Apt-X Bluetooth headphone, play music using Apple Music App, after some random period the music will start breaking up. Doesn't happen with normal headphones. If I restart the Bluetooth service the problem goes away for some random period of time from 15 minutes to 2 hours, then it comes back.
I'll never buy another Sony phone. The last update broke tethering for 12 months, and now this bluetooth bug. Phone is unstable too, it will randomly slow down, overheat and reboot.
Sony just isn't very good with this Android stuff, I've got one of their 2015 Android TV and it's a broken mess too.
Since the update any bluethooth connection has been breaking up (worked before) Bose speakers, Jamz speaker and my Honda. My device is a Sony Xperia Ultra XA... Hope Sony resolves this issue; would be a shame I would purchase another phone brand that does work..
