Cracked Digitizer- instructions to replace??

Hi

I recently got the experia active, and was very impressed for about 9 days.

Then a fat crack showed up in the "gorilla glass" of the digitizer.

Neither sony ericcson nor the retailer (an ebay store)

wanted to touch fixing this for me.

So I bought a new digitizer, and am trying to figure out how to install it.

I can't find those instructions anywhere.

Can anyone help me with a link?

(funny, only after breaking this phone did I find all the videos of people driving jeeps over it and wailing on it with tools. why isn't mine that tough??)

but that's a broken link-

comes up 'file not found'

Not even sure how I broke it,

just pulled it out of my pocket to find a big ugly crack.

Pretty mysterious as this is supposed to be a very tough phone

Also can anyone tell me if it's even possible to replace the digitizer while keeping the current display? I hear they're glued together.

How does the digitizer attach to the casing?

Unfortunately I'm no repair tech but I would suggest that you check for answers on XDA. There might be able to find some more information about it there.
