could not open connection to server

i have a sony xperia s.i configured my corporate email on the phone through the active exchange sync.However every 2 days it gives an error"could not open connection to server" after which no new mail can be received on sent through the phone.Have tried deleting & setting up the account agin but the problem continues with he same frequency.Am never sure whether the email is workking at any particular point of time until o refresh the mails & recieve the error.PLease help.No use of a smartfone if it cant manage emails

It is odd that this is happening every two days. Have you spoken with your server administrator to see if they do anything on this particular schedule that could be causing this issue.

I also have an Xperia SP and I am getting both Can't connect to Server and Connection to Server Failed messages every day. I happens after I have opened a couple of emails on both my personal and corporate accounts. It also now has started to drop the connection with the network a frequent intervals. I have to power off and on again. This morning was particularly bad. Firstly it was not connected, then connected but disconnected again. Multiple attempts at re-booting finally got it connected about two hours later.

Has anyone any idea how to rectify this. My provider has said to come back into the shop and have it set back to factory settings and try again but I want to avoid this if possible.
