could not connect to internet with ck13i

I purchased a sony ericsson txtpro ck3i on 5th of December 2011 and since then I havent been successful in using the internet

I could set the wifi settings (of my home dsl).  It is set successfully.

But when I try to open the opera or any other internet app, it says

"unable to connect to the internet. Please check your settings"

there is nothing mentioned about this in troubleshooting guides or any where.

Please also note the wifi connection is "On" when i start the opera. and I am also able to use the internet from the same wifi settings from my another phone.

Is this a bug??

Misconfiguration?? If so, then please guide on using internet using wifi??

Perhaps you need to turn on the Local Connection setting in your Internet settings.

I had the same problem. I don't need the mobile connexion, just the WIFI. So I removed all presets.

You have to activate "data roaming" too if you want to use the wifi...

Today I upgraded my Ck13i to the latest R5AA032 firmware (succesfully) and now the WIFI connection won't work too !!! ???

I made all the settings as before, the phone is connected wireless to my secured (WPA) network.

But when opening facebook or mini opera I always get an error message that it can't connect with the internet...

My wife has the same phone but with an older firmware and she has no problems???

I removed all internet networks, I only have "default".

My previous message should be ignored....

I also had to activate "allow java applications using the internet" and now everything works fine!

Things that changed for me:

* flashing middle button after missing a call

* sending emails works now!

* improved battery life while using wifi: can this be true?

WHEN I CONNECT WIFI INTERNET TO MY MOBILE MASSAGE APPEARS THAT UNABLE CONNECT PLEASE REVIEW NETWORK SATTING THOUGH WIFI IS ON AND EVERYTHING IS OK WHAT SHOULD BE DONE NOW
