Could not able to restore my backup

i've aked up my xperia ZL through pc companion. backing up was un eventfull then repaired my ZL wih companion later when i tried to restore my back up not at all responding , Ive seen a lot of threads discussing thism same issue since 2010 but sony never solved this issue i think, i frustrated totally
