How can I copy and paste a website adress from the browser adress bar? Unfortunately, the normal copy & paste procedure does not work.

I just tested this feature, if you are using Chrome simply double tap the URL link and then tap Copy on the top right hand corner.

I tried to double tap. There is no copy option at top right. Instead I got a magnifier dot. If I tap it it has a option to paste. Please help.
sounds like it's reading your double tap as a single tap. double tapping gives you a Text Selection menu, with options to Select All, Cut and Copy.
Maybe try double tapping slower? The screen seems to be very picky about things like that.
This still not working. When I tap it turns blue, and the keyboard pops out at bottom. A second tap onky brings the magnifier dot. Not sure if that is only my tablet z' s problem. But thanks for the reply.
I had that problem after installing a keyboard app. I found you have to triple tap the area in order to copy and paste.
