Copy/paste ends up in crash

Hi,
Suddenly the phone crashes the app (email or Chrome) when I long press for copy/paste function.
What could be the cause?

Test the phone in >>> safe mode and report back

In safe mode, copy in email app ok, copy in chrome shuts down chrome.
Started up in "normal" mode, copy ok in email app but not in Chrome.
So I guess it must be something with chrome?

Downloaded Chrome Beta, copy/paste working ok 👍

you can always clear the app data, keep us updated.

It only work for a short time.
Also cleared app data, then it also worked OK a couple if times..
Also have the same problem on my lenovo android pad, so it must be something with chrome...
Firefox Working fine.

Hi @Panasync I'm sorry to hear about this.

If it works fine with the Chrome beta it might be related to an update for the Chrome application. I would recommend that you uninstall updates for the Chrome application and see if you can copy/paste without Chrome shutting down. To do that go to Settings > Apps > Chrome > 3 dots > Uninstall updates.

Logged in via Google account, so different username.. But still panasync ☺️

I uninstalled the updates, then it works fine. 

Until I update chrome, then the same problems again.

Since it's related to an update to the Chrome application I would suggest that you leave your feedback regarding this to the developers of the application.

Open up the Chrome application and tap on the 3 dots in the top right corner > Help & feedback > Send feedback.

You can also send them an email.
