Contacts

I have just upgraded from a Samsung S3 mini and want to copy ALL my contacts across to the M4 Aqua. I did the transfer using Xperia Mobile Transfer loaded on bith phones but the only contacts transferred were those stored on the phone. None from my sim card. I cannot put the old sim card into the new phone as one is a Micro and the other a normal size. I copied ALL contacts to my laptop using Samsungs Kies but when I tried to access the file I was unable as I do not have a program to open it( as per Windows 10) Can anyone help.

On your Samsung device create a backup of those contacts and transfer or import the backup file to your new device and imports from the backup file or transfer your Sim contacts from Sim to Google contacts or to phone and then use the transfer app to copy them over

Thanks Richard. I did however manage to transfer all the contacts over to the Sony via Bluetooth without any problems.

I coppied all the contacts from the SIM card on Samsung to the Contacts file on the Samsung and then used Bluetooth.
