The contacts application on my Xperia Z1 Compact crashes frequently, and I've encountered crashes also on some other key applications of my phone. Just few minutes ago my the actual phone application crashed when someone tried to call me, when I pressed "OK", the led kept on blinking but there was no way to really pick up the phone.

Are these bugs known by Sony, or am I alone with them?

Have you disable any app(s)?

Do you have any taskiller, antivirus, task manager, battery app, booster apps?

Try settings-apps-all-contacts,force stop and clear data.See if the same occurs.

I have the same issue....

it crashes really frequently.

I have usually to kill all running applications and more with a task killer sofware so it works enough time for me to use it.

It is really annoying and it is pushing me to change smartphone, not speaking of another ridiculous issue of repetitive reset of the BT connection to my car.

It continues to crash even with the last update...

I have the same.issue both with contacts and sms application. Any solutions out there??

"Nice" to see that others have this problem too. I have to add to my earlier report, that actually also the main phone process sometimes crashes when the contacts app crashes. So the phone goes offline for a while, recovers in maybe ten seconds, but this kind of instability is really annoying.

Contact app crashes practically every time I try to use it, but I'm consistently able to use it when I try it again after the crash.
