Contact picture synchronization problem XPERIA Active

Hi

Some weeks ago, I bought the XPERIA Active. My software version is 2.3.4 build 62. I don't want to update to 4.0. But some problem occured. My contacts are synced with my google accout. And I restored the into the phone. Some blurry contact pictures occured. And when somebody calls the picture is in a square in the middle. I've added new contact pictures, and thay was on the whole widht of the screen as they suppose to be. But when i close the contact app, and star it again. There are the blurry, cashed pictures. I did the procedure with various ways, but the result is all the same. I've diabled the sync and the problem disappeared. So what is the problem here, because I want my contacts synced with my account. Sorry if my english i bad.

If you have your contact synced with Gmail I suggest that you check the profile pictures on your Gmail. If they appear nice and correct try to clear data for contact in the phone (will delete all your contacts). And then sync your phone again with Gmail.

Well, thanks for your response. I checked the contacts in my gmail account and they appear in squares like, they do on the phone. So what's next?
