Contact name wiped after update

I just updated my software and have lost some of my contact details. I have forced stop of contacts abd checked my filters but they still haven't turned up after restarting my phone.

Did you have a Google account on your phone and do you know if you had it set to sync your contacts?

Im not exactly sure, when I go into contact settings there is a google account noted and all the contacts are ticked but I dont know how to sync it.

Is there anything I should do to try and get the contacts back?

Hi @Leh,

To Sync your contacts you can just turn off Sync for contacts then turn it back on. It should show todays date and time.
