Contact auto linking

Hi,

Could you please suggest how to link contacts from facebook with my google contacts. They were welll managed when I was using HTC phone. But in my latest Sony Xperia Miro, it is not auto linking the contacts. As a result some contacts are showing two times in my contacts menu.

Please see someone could help me.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum!

Try going in to Settings - Accounts & sync - Click on the Facebook account and select Sync contacts and see if that might sort it out first of all.

Otherwise you're able to manually link contacts if you go to Contacts and select Edit on a contact also.

Hi Peter,

Thank you for the reply. I have tried both ways already but system should auto link between my phone and facebook contacts like example if Mr.X is a friend of mine at facebook and Mr.X also exists in my phone contact the phone should merge both the contacts and make it one.

Individualy linking each contact is very tedious job.
