I recently had my XPeria Z2 fixed after 10 months of it having a cracked screen and not working. So when I finally tried to update to the latest software it turned off and now the red LED light comes on, the Sony start screen shows up and then I get a message saying the update failed.
I've seen that this has happened to a lot of people and it's been fixed with repairing the phone through Sony Bridge for Mac, and I've tried countless times to repair it but the connection procedure (connecting the cable and holding the volume - button) does not work at all.
Does anyone know how I can fix my phone as this is really frustrating? Can I do it myself or will I have to make a trip to a Sony store?
