Connecting my Xperia J to Sony adio system

I have successfully connected my Xperia J to my Sony CMT-SBT300W system, get the test sound etc... but when I start the Walkman application the appears to be no option to select the sound system to hear the music.  What am I not seeing or doing wrong?
