Connected to wifi but unable to connect to the internet after update

Unable to access internet throgh wifi connection using my xperia x10 with android 2.1. The phone connects to wifi network but unable to browse the internet.

Anyone having a solution for this?

something that i must mentioned

1. i can surf internet with my university wifi

2. i try ip static but no hope

3. i live in iran that sony does not support local service (i think)

4. i don't know exactly when this happend but i think this problem happend after i updated my phone software with pc companion

i think this problem was solved before but i could't find the answer that can solve my problem , if u know the solution plz help me

If you can get Internet access using while connected to another router it's most likely a router setting that needs to be looked at. I suggest that you check the DHCP settings to make sure that your phone gets an valid IP address from the router so you can access Internet.
