Connect to PC Companion via Wireless

Hi everyone, I have a SE XPERIA X10. I don't use PC Companion often enough just because, whenever I want to connect to my pc, I need to get the micro USB to do that. PC Companion offers connection via wireless for only 4 phones (3 models). XPERIA Arc, Play and neo. Why won't they do that for all XPERIA phones? Not even for X10 (which was much more expensive that Arc!). They all do offer wireless connection and  can't seem to find the reason they won't let you connect that way. Any suggestions? Do the guys at SE ever see these posts and questions? Do they ever answer?

I am not from Sony Ericsson, I am just a customer of the company who voluntarily helps with the moderation. So, if you don't like something I post, it is just my comment.

I like my X10. When we bought the phones, they performed various functions. Since then, Sony Ericsson have made a number of updates and improvements. To my mind, that is a good thing. They are of course limited regarding updates by the requirements of Google, hardware limitations and their own resources.

I do realise that it can be frustrating to buy something and to see a later version or model introduced for the same price or cheaper, but that is the way of these things.

The first thing you should have done before attacking and insulting me sushidushi, was to see who opened the thread and WHEN! Let me make it a bit easier for you. I DID, 6 months ago! If I had no right using “inappropriate” (for the system) language, you didn’t have the right to make a personal attack! Your responsibilities stop at the profanity filter. From there and on you act as a person. If you wonna act as a blogger or as an employee you can do that! You can reply at a later time, at a later post and express your opinions! You totally mixed the subjects! It’s a different thing warning a user on his “inappropriate” behavior in the forum and a totally different thing to call him a spammer and imply things on that person.

Lastly, but not least, the last sentence in your reply, was an answer I would get from a SE employee! As I said to my earlier reply; I never said anything was suggested. And that’s the whole point. Try to understand this and reply again. You don’t get it, do you? You honestly believe I care about an extra 100 Euro? You even think I care about 1000 Euro? Well, I DON’T! If I wonna buy something because I believe is good and nice, I will buy it; even if it costs a fortune. I just hate being taken for a granted and a fool! And to close this, cause I don’t like fighting and arguing with anyone, not unless provoked; above all is the after sales support. This is the way you keep a loyal customer (cause that’s the way I want to be considered) and you don’t push him way.

(Read this if you want to know why I consider myself a loyal customer … not only to SE but to SONY as well http://talk.sonyericsson.com/message/121099#121099)

As I understand the reason why X10 is not included in this way of connecting is that it doesn't have DLNA in it's framework.

Unfortunately I don't think that it's something that will be added for the X10.

as of course to the existing ongoing policy for upgrades of SE!

Thank you for your considered reply. It isn't for you to determine whether or not I am only here to edit posts of children who find it amusing to swear on public forums.

In any case, the sad fact is that the X10 is from an earlier generation than the Arc, Neo and so on. These things seem to move scarily quickly. It is also a fact, I think, that the X10 will not be able to connect wirelessly to PC Companion. I realise that you would prefer it to be otherwise. I too found it to be a bit of a pain that the same cable is used for charging and for connecting to the computer. I just use different cables for different functions.

I’m not dealing with you anymore. I’ve better things to do. Congrats on the increased responsibilities! Don’t reply back cause I won’t even look at it! Don’t forget to ban me for the dose of irony!

P.S. Should you wanted to draw my attention on any mater, a private message would have avoided the conversation followed!
