complaint regarding its internal storage

i brought a new sony xperia L.i have been facing one problem in it i.e. its shows only 4 gb internal memory whereas it has 8 gb internal memory and whenever i connect my mobile with my lappy or my desktop or any other peripheral device it format my memory card..i have changed 2 memory card yet..

DID i go to its service centre i brought this mobile on july,2013??

please tell me guys what i have to do
