Hi. I have the Sony xperia z2

Sony says on the dk36 dock charger, that it will charge with or with out case and provide 2 adaptors for this purpose!!

What case is compatable for this use.

Please help, already bought one case that is not compatable and thats a sony brand.

Also my daughters have the xperia z1 compact and the dk32 dock charger, and have the same issue.

SONY have been very miss leading on this, sony accessories says they do not sell cases or refer other makes.

Sony mobile accessories sit clearly state the chargers will charge with or with out case,

Which. Cases do I need to buy for this option

The SCR10 case for Xperia Z2 is compatible with DK36 charging dock.

I have that case and I can assure. You it is not, it does not even have a cut out for the magnetic connections

Ah yes,

You have misunderstood probably. It is not compatible when closed. You need to open the cover.

"Compatible" means that you do not have to remove the cover to use the magnetic dock.

Ok but not great as still cover is open and taking up room at rear, plus you only need to use the charger in normal phone mode

In short as if using with out case, which case do you use with cover on adaptor, and what about the Sony z1compact, same issue

And I do not think sony make any cases for that phone.

My problems still exist for both phones, what case do I use with case on adaptor in charger (more space) for both types of phone?
