Common Problems with the Xperia Z Ultra

- the power button ends the call and also wakes up the phone, so if you need to refer to an email or sms while on a call you might acccidently land up cutting the line more than once

- when the headset is plugged in no notification sounds are heard. as a result, you land up missing e-mails and msgs

- more often than once the display starts starting applications on its own without any touch in a frenzy. The only way to address is to lock your screen wait for 5 seconds and then unlock your screen again

Any solutions to any of the above? Many thanks in anticipation.

I installed the new update today. Just ensure you reset the display auto off. The new UI is nice and does offset some of the display bugs. Its been 3.5 hrs since I have installed the new software and no display frenzy.

My display brightness is usually set to the lowest. Will try full brightness tomorrow morning when I go for a walk. 

I so hope the display brightness issue is also fixed soon.

I have updated it, its good so far.

There are some nice UI changes and the sound feels good now.

I do also have sweaty hands. Now im sure because of sweat the screen taps anything and opens diff apps and options. After wiping the screen it goes normal. This is quite disappointing.

yes, its very disappointing. after the latest update, the error is reduced to a minimum. But when it happens, I feel terrible and the apps keep on popping up.

With the lastest updated I experienced no issues for 3 days but then it occured again and especially when battery falls below 30%. Anyone from Sony listening? Isn't there a fix for it?
