Hi,
I notice that an application called com.sonyericsson.unsupportedheadsetnotifier is using a large amount of data (~6MB in 24h).
Has anyone else noticed this, know what it's for and know how to stop it using so much data?
I have an Experia Mini.
I've noticed the same process on my Xperia Ray a few days ago. It uses about 1MB per day (My Data Manager). Any idea how to shut this down? I've tried Force stop, but it still uses data.
I have the same issue with an ArcS but mine wastes ~4MB/day. It seems that the only solution is root the phone...
Anyway, why an "invalid headset" notification needs to send data? Who is been notified?, sure is not the phone user.
It seems like it uses more data the more I browse the internet. On the days I do very little browsing, it uses very little of my data. This is very strange to me. What does this have to do with headsets? I really didn't want to root the phone. This sucks.
Exactly! I see no reason for this process to access the internet!
I have the exact problem with Sony Ericsson walkman live, android ver 2.3.4.
anyone have any idea ?
I get this too on the xperia play
