com.sonyericsson.unsupportedheadsetnotifier ... data usage problem

According to "My data manager" com.sonyericsson.unsupportedheadsetnotifier process is using a lot of data traffic (2g,3g, wifi). This large data consumption started a month ago ... before it was very small. Now it's about 2 MB a day ... no1 on the list!

Please help me ... how to shutdown this app, how to delete it or similar. I already tried stoping the process, and deleting UnsupportedHeadsetNotification.apk (as suggested in another topic here) ... non worked. Phone is mini pro on 2.3.3.

Hi...

you're on old firmware....2.3.3 which is now updated to 2.3.4 with a .62 build number so update if you needed....no harm in updating you're phone as updating also fix bugs and make performance better....

If you do me a favour I want you to recheck you're phone's android version & build number, here's how...

Menu>setting>about phone....

And check this thread...you might get you're answer....;)

I have the exact same issue on my Xperia Ray. I noticed it a few days ago, after installing My Data Manager, just like kkomarica. The process uses about 1MB per day and is at the top of my data usage list! I've tried to force stop the process, but it still uses data. Does someone know how I can get rid of this thing. Apparently it's not a very important process.

Another one that uses some data, albeit not that much is "Keypad" - any idea what this is/does?

I'm using an Xperia Ray with Android version 2.3.4.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
