Clock in recent apps Lollipop Z3 Compact

When I click on recent apps button I see the clock along with the apps that are open. Is this normal? Is the clock supposed to be there.

Is your clock a widget either way on a Z3 tablet the clock disappears when I open recent apps or if I remove the clock as a widget it still doesn't appear when I open recent apps - So this could be an amendment from the firmware I have or it could be a country specific or network specific amendment or feature

It could be country specific firmwire thing, but I am still hardpressed to believe that. I don't understand the purpose behind showing clock on recent apps window. When I click on that clock it takes me to the date and time settings! Anyway I haven't kept any widget on the homescreen, still the clock shows up in recent apps window. Another thing to live with.
