CK13i's battery and apps questions

Hi ther, I have a ck13ii txt and it's battery is flat after a day, 2 tops. I have it for about 2 weeks. Why is it like this ???

And i also have a question about the apps. Some apps like facebook, mini-opera and others have a lock next to them and they dont work, what should i do to fix thhat, so that they would connect to intenet(wifi) ??

Sadly, I regret to inform you that this is an average battery life for any Smart phone.

The locks indicate that these systems are protected files and can not be removed.

In regards to the applications that aren't working I would advise you contact your network and ask them to check your settings.

I had similar problems like You but I have updated the firmware with newest and It's OK. The latest firmware version is R5AA025. I hope this help you!

Obviously, this is really the latest firmware version, but not yet uploaded on the servers (SEUS and Wotanserver) We will wait hoping to be soon!

Mark you are lucky!! I send and recieve 4 texts a day,no more.

I am not interested in Internet side of things.

Battery is  flat within 24 hours.

Thankfully I have a 14 day return option on it and am returning it pronto, and do all smart phones run out this quick?

Very disappointed with it.

New  Virgin store in Chatham, no help today and would not, could not refund me and I have to journey to Maidstone to return it to Virgin store there.

Over all 2 trips 100 miles.... waste of time.

Although, the battery of my CK13i lasts less and less each week, and the usage is the same. This is not a top-smartphone, which means doesn't require the same battery as an Android smartphoe, for example, so it is not understandable how this happens. The standard time mentioned in the device's specs is not real.
