I have recently purchased a $100 credit for cinemanow. I am having problems with the app. After downloading a show, it will not launch most of the time when I click on "watch now". It might finally run it after the tenth attempt. Also, the last 3 or 4 minutes are cut off of my shows. And thirdly, you cannot jump ahead from where you left off in the show.. the program will just freeze up.
I have been talking with tech support at cinemanow, and following their reconmendations of deleting titles and uninstall/re-install, and shutting the phone off for a period, then turning it on.. all unsuccessful. I'm looking for some insight before I take it to the next level and demand my money back for my 100 bucks I gave to cinemanow.
Sounds like there might be some compatibility issues with your phone and the app. What you could do with the phone is a software repair via PC Companion (link below). Maybe someone else here at the forums has used Cinemanow and can tell if they've got the app working properly? I'll contact a colleague of mine on the US support to see if he's heard anything about this.
