Chinese keyboard missing + other problems

Ok so I got my xperia P two days ago... updated to ICS straight away

love the phone but i am facing some problems...

1. i couldn't find the chinese keyboard...

2. Google voice typing "Audio Problem"

3. Chinese text messages not showing up for recepient.

i've searched around the forum and also tried the usual methods

- keep pressing the white area where i write a new message but nothing comes up...

so i dragged down the notification bar and tried to change my keyboard settings from there. No Xperia Chinese Keyboard option, no Xperia Japanese keyboard option. Only Xperia keyboard and Google voice typing.

Also from the keyboard settings -> languages i tried to look for chinese but there's no chinese...

a friend suggested i should use voice typing so i can send chinese text messages without the chinese input

Google voice typing keeps showing "audio problem", i tried to use the default language which is english and it still gives me audio problem.

So i gave up and downloaded Go! keyboard. Now i can send chinese messages in whatsapp and SMS. but the problem with SMS is the recepient will receive a blank message not displaying the chinese characters. It does work with whatsapp though.

I've sent chinese text to my hubby before with my old phone and his phone can display chinese characters correctly......

Anyone having similar problems? Thanks in advance.

Are you able to set Chinese keyboard if you go via?

Settings > Language & input > Default > Xperia Chinese keyboard.

If not try to reinstall the phone software via SUS, that could perhaps solve the "audio problem" as well.

Thanks for your reply but I've tried that and there's no Xperia Chinese keyboard. Only Xperia Keyboard.

I've actually tried "repiar phone" using the mac bridge and the chinese keyboard is still missing and the audio problem not solved.
