China language

Hello everyone,

I need a help with my phone xperia x10 mini pro. I have problem with language. When i press or hold up a button for get described mark on my qwerty phone gives me something in china language or it gives me wrong mark.

Examples:

"," is instead of "?"

" ' " is instead of "."

something in china language is instead of ( ) / @ etc.

Numbers and most letters (when i hold q, w, e, a etc. i get china marks) work good.

Do You have any ideas how to change my language for being "normal"?

Ps. Sorry for bad english. It's my second language. If You don't understand what i meant, just ask.

what if you go to settings > language and keyboard and change it to english

or

open the messaging app > once you see the input box > press and hold the input box > you should get a menu to change it to english

I'm sorry my answer is so late, but i didn't expect You will reply to me so fast.

My settings in "language and keyboard" were good. When i wanted try the second way i got 2 options in input method:

-Chinese keyboard & HWR

-Default input

There is an problem that "default input" is the same like "chinese keyboard & HWR".

Can i download english keyboard from somewhere?
