Charging on microusb problem

I have a problem.

When charging Xperia Z2 over normal micro USB port it keeps disconecting and connecting. When i connect on magnetic charger it charges normally.

But i saw that humidity senzor is red. But my phone was never under water, only the door gets open when it is in my pocket could it cath humidity from my pocket and destroy charging port? Could i get warranty when senzor is red?

Hi,

Have you tried to charge your phone with different cables to exclude problems related to your cable/charger?

If yes, I suggest that you contact your local support team for further information regrading warranty and how to proceed with this in the best possible way:

Hi, the red tab you see is it beside the charging port & if so that is not a water indicator but as far as i'm aware a reset button :smileysmileywink:

Might be the lack of usb speed/voltage...
The mainboard chipset decides where power should go... If there are many devices connected (usb mice, usb keyboard, card reader, flash disc etc...) there might be some loss of voltage power for that usb port (then the port goes to USB 1.0 mode lacking in voltage and disconnecting device that was built as usb 2.0).
Try to connect via usb hub with other than USB port power supply, there are plenty of hubs that have adittional ac/dc connector in pack. try different computer or USB port (disconnecting some devices to higher up port voltage).

When Z2 is blinking orange/green it sometimes mean the device is beeing recognized by system and it's normal, and sometimes the green blinks to prevent Z2 from overcharge when accu is over 90% of charge.

I have thought that this is senzor for humidity. I know that some phones have it. That is relief, so i have varranty...

I have tried differenet cables, and different usb chargers included normal PC USb port. It just connects and disconects all the time every half a second. When i borrow some smartphone i will give it to service.
