Today, after unplugged the phone from an usb cable on my desktop, the charging icon is always on the status bar, and a strange message saying that the chargin voltage was not eough to charge the phone has appeared. I used to plug the phone everyday in this cable and never this problem has happen.
Now when I turn off the phone, every 30 second the screen turn on with 'the word SONY' on center for 5 second, then turn off again.
I've tried to hard reset , but when I plug the phone into the usb the problem start again: chargin g icon and never really turn off.
Thanks
Edika
Try performing a system repair as this will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone
Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process
If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP
Hello Thommo,
I've tried your solution, and in the first moments look workings, but when I've replugged the charger, the problem is started again.
The charge is very slow when the is usb is plugged in the AC, and when plugged on an usb port of the PC it doesn't charge and an alert appear saying that the energy consuption of the phone is more then the charge of the usb. Moreover, every minute a window, asking which apps between alarm and dailymotion I want to launch, is showing even if I've already do the choice.
What can I do now?
