charging dock dk26 and case

Can you charge the phone using the dock with a case on the phone? Or do you have to take the phone out of the case?

My case has a gap where the golden looking slots are if that's any help. Just wondering before I buy a dock.

It could potentially work but the issue is with the size of the case may interfere with the points touching between your phone and dock without any kind of modification to the dock itself. I have yet to see any cases where I would think the profile wouldn't be altered to a point where it would charge the phone with the case on. Hope that helps.

I have acquired the magazine in the Sonymobile webpage. The DK26 has come at home two days ago and the charger works perfectly.

The problem is slot fits where the phone is so tight, that it is not possible to introduce the phone bag. I have brought the DK26 with me and i was yesterday afternoon trying with different models of cover in various shops of telephony and there is NO WAY.

This morning I've contacted Sony, informing about this incidence and, to my surprise, there is no official cover that solvent this problem. It seems incredible that the designers have been so careless not to take this into account or, at least, that Sony provided a cover type "envelope" that allows to take and put the phone with comfort, because you have to recharge it every day.

The excuse that the phone is tough, is not enough to prevent that we protect our phone.

I certainly  I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO BUY THE DK26.
