Charger Cover

Had the Z3 Compact for 6 months now. First time with Sony & thought the pull out charger cover was pretty flimsy, so guess what, went to charge phone this morning and cover has snapped off, so the guaranteed waterproof is now not the case either & it also exposes the memory card. This was always a weak point when i first got phone & as i thought its now broken. Does anyone know if this can be repaired, or is it a warranty job. Has anyone else had this problem ?

It's better to fix it at your Local support to ensure genuine parts and waterfroofness after fixing, others prefer DIY and will find some spare parts on eBay or Amazon, but waterproofness may not be guaranteed after this and may void your warranty too.

How much does it cost, Had my Z3 compact after years of Samsung phones and after only 2 months the same thing has happened. I'd class this as a manufacturer problem not fit for purpose however I took my phone back to my contract provider who were less than useless. Not happy

Same issue with mine today, the cover keeps popping open, when I looked the rubber band is half hanging off. It seems this is not a good design. I purchased this phone as it was waterproof after accidentally dropping my last down the toilet but this is no longer waterproof
