Changing Exchange password causes large Data usage

Morning all,

We've got a problem which appears to have affected a number of people with Xperia S phones.  We use Exchange 2010/Active Directory for corporate email and use the builtin email client.  We've had a number cases when the user changes their password on the network, then changes it on the phone, the phone then starts using large amounts of data.  One guy that is with me now, has been using approx 5MB per day of data on email, and since changing his password, its been using 80MB per day. 

I've asked him to re-create his email profile to see if that resolves it, but that does fix the issue thats just a wrork round.

Please investigate this. Firnware version is 6.1.A.0.453

I have not noticed any thing like this for Xperia S. Are you able to replicate this running on the latest software (6.1.A.2.45) as well?

Hi Johan,

Impossible to know since none of the phones we have have received that update yet, still waiting for it.................... most of them are the 1257-3114 model number which has not been given the firmware update.
