change sms tone on xperia x10 mini pro

can someone please tell me how to change my sms tone to a custom sms tone???????????

Hi,

I have an Xperia 10, and i cant put my mp3 for contacts, call tone or Sms , so i investigated a litle more and you must convert the tones and create folders bla bla, well i found out an App in Android Market that makes everything easier, its calls Tone Picker - Mp3 ringtone , its great- you can costumize every sound you need. When selecting the sound, the phone will prompt to select from Android system or Tone picker -  select Tone picker then select Tone picker again :smileygrin:

U can indeed do it. Just go to Settings>Sony Ericsson>Messaging. Here u can pick ur message tone.

You can also put a mp3 thats on your sd card as a ringtone. Just go to contacts>edit contact>Addmore and choose Ringtone. If u do not find ur mp3 song whcih u are looing for then simply got to music library at the end and select the mp3 song which u need for a particular contact.

hi you don't get those options on x10 mini pro

This is how you do it goto messages via main icon then press hard button with four squares on it then you get settings and delete several press settings in there you can change your message notification tone
