Change firmware?

I accidentally bought a Japanese version of the Xperia Tablet Z on Amazon. Is there any way I can change the firmware to have the stock US Xperia Tablet Z firmware? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Would this work to change japan xperia tablet to USA? Also would I start receiving USA updates instead of japan updates? Also can you make a video of how to do this, seems slightly difficult ( I have rooted an android phone before, but I am still not 100% comfortable unless I know what I'm doing).

If the hardware is the same it should work just fine, it wouldn't hurt to double check the XDA forum, whenever you flash your tablet or phone you will not receive updates from the original country but the new firmware's country.

Also, I prefer to have stock xperia tablet z firmware, just the USA version. Not the Japanese version. Would that be possible.

Yeah, just get the correct firmware, I have the global firmware on that link, but do download flashtool and check the XDA forum for the USA ftf file
