How can change default dialer from my Z3. You have a big issu for me. IN THE CALL LOG YOU DON'T SHOW PICTURE CONTACT !!!

I try but can't make DEFAULT dialer, just change the icon from screen. When I received call open sony dialer not my dialer.

SONY disabled this: 

Go to your Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications.

Select the 'All' tab and scroll to the current dialer app.

Scroll down and press the 'Clear defaults' button. Now when you select dial, you should be prompted to select a particular app and also have the opportunity to set a new default.

WHY ???

You still might not be able to do that with the dialer.Have you tried to clear defaults?

This function "clear defaults" IS DISABLED !

Go to settings-apps-all,tap on 3 dots (settings) and reset app preferences.

Please, if you have Z3 (I have D6653), try with any dialer and you will see that it does not work.

Clearing Phone defaults did not force the dialogue to select default dialer. Short of resetting the z3 does anyone know if I can make hangouts my default dialer. Running latest android 511.

Also looking for a solution for the badly implemented Dual Sim features for my Z3+ Dual. The Tru Phone app does exactly what I want (force a default Sim for calls) but I cannot select it as the default.
