Anyone please tell me that how to take backup of messages from the inbox for sony Ericsson cedar?

In PC Companion you can save SMS messages to your PC or make a full backup of the phone.

i have tryed many time but still i am not able to take a back up of my sms!

Try using Myphoneexplorer, it's ideal for SMS backup: http://www.fjsoft.at/en/downloads.php

Download it to your PC and synchronise your phone to it, either via USB cable or Bluetooth.

I wonder if you already found a solution? I now have exactly the same problem to backup sms text messages with my sony ericsson cedar. About one year ago it worked perfectly to save SMS with PC companion but now it doesn't work anymore at all! I've tried everything: connection by bluethooth, usb-cable, I got the latest version of PC companion, different computers, ... but the SMS doesn't synchronise anymore...

Any suggestion anyone or another application or software that is worth trying??

As I already mentioned on this thread, try using MyPhoneExplorer, which is ideal not only for saving sms, but you can also export them to Word/Excel, and much more besides.
