Car mode Sony Xperia Z

When I try to use the navigation on the right top of the application it throws me out saying the Car Mode has unfortunately stoped working. I cannot find a setting for this or an update. Can I please have some advice on this matter.

That sounds very strange. Have you tried to reset the application? You can do that from Settings -> Apps -> All -> Car mode -> Clear data.

If that doesn't help, see if you have any disabled apps at the bottom of Settings -> Apps -> All and if so, try to enable them again.

Nope that didn't work. Is there an update I can download for this.

Have you installed any 3:rd party navigation app that you're trying to open from car mode? This works fine for me when i test it here with Google Maps Navigation.

Have you tried updating the phone using PC Companion (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/pc-companion/)?

I did the phone update on the pc. There is no other navigation except the Google 1 which works fine. This is the 1 when u put car mode on on the top right corner there is an application that has a navigation arrow and the a cloud pic. As soon as I press that Tue application kick me out.

First try making a repair of the phones software and see if that helps. Start PC Companion without connecting the phone and go to Support zone -> Software update -> repair and follow the instructions but please note that this will reset the phone.
